Semis showdown in Tony Becca Cup

THE TEAMS that will challenge in the final for the Tony Becca Cup in the Petcom-sponsored Portmore Metropolitan Cricket League will be known tomorrow.

Ken Crooks Cup winners Waterford entertain defending champions Portsmouth at Waterford High School, and Sharon Hay-Webster Cup winners Elevation tackle Hamilton Gardens at Bridgeport Sports Club in semi-final action tomorrow. Both matches begin at 10:30 a.m.

Kensington Super Cup players Samuel Douglas, Hugh Hinds and Randy Carter, along with Colin Buchanan of St. Catherine Parish's Super Cup team will lead the Portsmouth charge against Junior Canegan, Ricardo Brisco, Damion Foster and Richard Grant of Waterford.

DeanCourt Wright, Lloyd Black, Brian Latore, Dwight Williams and Kenneth Harris will lead Elevation's victory bit against Hamilton Gardens with former national player Delroy Morgan, Garnet Murray and Ryan Smith.

The final is set for next Sunday.
