CONTRARY TO what the men may think, it is the women who rule. Think about it. From time immemorial, women have been man's undoing. History is replete with stories of men who fall victim: Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, Delilah with Samson - you name it. Men, for all their machismo, are just clueless. Yes, they may know how to perform in bed. And, yes, they may try to please so many damsels, but, when you sit down and think about it, you will have to conclude that it is the woman who is victorious.
She is the one who controls the man's sexual and emotional barometer simply because she has a commodity that he wants, nay, hankers after at any given moment. And yet, with all her power, the average woman, if she is not careful, can cause herself untold grief.
ASTUTENESS
A woman has to be astute if she wants to not only manage her relationship but keep her man. Of course, we all know how so many women play the field and somehow have all their men devoted to them simply because it is so easy to deceive a man.
If you are in any doubt as to who rules in relationships, you need only look at the countless housewives who have time to keep a toy boy or the many women who keep more than one man. Let us look at the older man/young girl syndrome. I lament at how incredibly gullible and stupid these men are. They literally pay for sex by bestowing trinkets on these young girls who, predictably, tell them how much they love them and what great lovers they are.
TRAGEDY
The tragedy is that these men believe the script or delude themselves into believing that they are as great as ever. All you have to do is look at how these same young girls quickly change gear and slip into the arms of their young lovers, once the coast is clear. The mad man in renowned author, Henry Winkler's book, The Lunatic, summed it up, "pum x2 rule!" and how!
As some men are stupid, women are smart. They make the men believe that they are in charge even as they play serious mind games of submission. They allow the men to bring home the bacon and then simply take over its preparation. The truth is that men, for all their machismo, settle in comfort in relationships where women take charge. The average man doesn't know how to find the cheque book or how much it costs to run a household. Every which way a man turns, he has a woman making his life easier or more difficult. Is it any wonder who rules in relationships?
