Donna Scott-Motley named as PNP Senator
published: Tuesday | November 1, 2005

SCOTT-MOTLEY

DONNA SCOTT-MOTLEY is the new People's National Party senator.

She replaces Senator Keste Miller, an attorney-at-law, who has been assigned to the Jamaican High Commission in London.

Prime Minister P.J. Patterson announced the decision yesterday at a post-Cabinet press briefing at Jamaica House, St. Andrew.

In 1989, Mrs. Scott-Motley ran and lost against the Jamaica Labour Party's Mike Henry in Central Clarendon. She was also a former parliamentary secretary.
