Kudos to Kingfish
published: Tuesday | November 1, 2005

THE EDITOR, Sir:

KUDOS TO Operation Kingfish and members of the public who provided information to the security forces, who ended the reign of Jamaica's most wanted man, Bulbie.

Well, now you know that Operation Kingfish is doing a good job. Therefore, help them to get all those gunmen who are on the streets going about their business like law-abiding citizens. The gunmen need to have their day in court.

This is just the beginning. It is time to stop the gunmen from terrorising, victimising, and intimidating law-abiding citizens with no remorse. You the public can restore law and order. You need to trust the security forces. Their are some corrupt members of the security forces, but the vast majority are decent law-abiding citizens. Like you, they would do anything to ensure that every law-abiding citizen can walk the streets of Jamaica, and feeling safe to do so.

Finally, if you the public can have the confidence to provide information to the security forces to end the reign of Jamaica's most wanted man, then ending the reign of the numerous thugs, dons, and gunmen should not be a problem. Therefore, let's get to work and bring them to justice.

I am, etc.,
