The following are more nominees for this year's prestigious Gleaner Honour Awards:

EDUCATION AND PUBLIC SERVICE

Bishop Herro Blair: For his work with the Peace Management Initiative.

Edmund Bartlett: For his personal interest in the education of the young people in his constituency.

Fredrick A. Lee: For his contribution to education in Bog Walk, St. Catherine.

Edward Seaga: For his 43 years of unbroken service to the legislatures and his contribution to the development of the education sector.

Donald Thompson: For his close to 40 years of service to education in Jamaica.

Derick Latibeaudiere: For his service in banking and finance and his work as Governor of the Bank of Jamaica.

Polly Perry: For her work in tourism in the parish of Portland.

Ethlyn Aiken: For her years of dedicated service to education; she is also a former principal of The Queen's School.

Dorothy Gregory: For her role as a lecturer in the department of Social Sciences at the University of the West Indies.
