Cheapside, Ballards Valley face off for Len Blake title
published: Saturday | November 5, 2005

WAYNE CUFF

THE FINAL of the SDC/Len Blake South East St. Elizabeth cricket competition will be played tomorrow between Cheapside and Ballards Valley at Alpart Sports Club. Match time is at 10:30 a.m.

An impressive bowling performance of 5-10 from pacer Owen Wilshire propelled Cheapside to a 36-run victory over Todd Town in semi-final two while Ballards got by Uprising Youth Club two weeks ago.

In tomorrow's final, Jason Nelson, along with twins Damion and Andre Bryce and Courtney Nembhard, all of whom got useful scores in the semi-final will once again lead Ballards Valley's batting against Wilshire, and Ainsley Goss.

Cheapside will be looking to former national representative Wayne Cuff, Howard Fairman and Goss to score heavily while Ballards will be hoping Fabian Hall, Damion Bryce and Gary Bromfield can restrict them to a small total.
