Keep roving, Mr Lalah
published: Monday | November 14, 2005

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I HAVE been reading the articles in your newspaper on Thursdays 'Roving with Lalah' and I am very happy to inform you that I do enjoy reading his articles.

I must commend Mr. Lalah for the very informative and educational articles and the humour that he puts into it. I was pleased to read his articles on Mocho in Clarendon and St. Ann's Bay in St. Ann.

I have always heard about Mocho and was happy to learn about the place and its people.

I was born in St. Ann's Bay and left when I was 18 years old. I am now 45 years old and when I read the article, it takes me back to my home town where as the reporter described it, a spectacular little town.

Looking at the pictures brings back memories of the good old days and a breath of fresh air and I smiled. I am glad to know that the place is still beautiful and homely. When I read on, I felt as if I was there again as a child.

Keep up the good work and give my congratulations to the reporter, Mr. Robert Lalah, for the tremendous job that he is doing. Keep roving my boy, you are going places.

I am, etc.,

M.A. MORRIS
