REMNANTS OF THE SEA
published: Thursday | November 17, 2005

Nashauna Drummond, Staff Reporter

Muscles served at the evening of fine wine and seafood at Whitehouse Seafood on Lady Musgrave Road.

REMNANTS OF the sea were all that were visible at the second annual Evening of Fine Wines and Seafood. The second Fine Wine and Seafood Festival held at Whitehouse Seafood on Lady Musgrave Road last Wednesday.

The delectable bites were still simmering as patrons sampled the meagre offerings. The Seafood Pasta looked inviting enough, the Crab Cakes with Mango Sauce were missing the essential ingredient - the crab and the muscles were just there.

The only star that shone that night was the Hawaiian Shrimp Kebab. The spicy Hawaiian Sauce brought the Kabob to life even if you didn't hear the tropical waves. These were complemented by red or white wine courtesy of Lascelles Wines and Spirits. However for real wine lovers the choices were limited with only wines from New Zealand and Australia.
