EACH CHRISTMAS season for the past 10 years, Ammar's Limited, one of Jamaica's largest department stores, has rewarded its customers for their year-long patronage. This year is no different; so those on the Ammar's mailing list and who had made purchases between October and mid-November, were invited to 'Celebrate the Season', at the Ammar's Store in the Mall Plaza on Constant Spring Road, on Thursday, November 17.

EXCLUSIVE SHOPPING

For the night, loyal customers were given the privilege of an exclusive shopping experience - as the store was closed to the general public - and guests were treated to refreshment that they could enjoy while spending. For everything purchased, there was a 10 per cent discount; "a little Christmas gift to our customers," said Michael Ammar Jr. the proprietor of Ammar's Limited.

Mr. Ammar pointed out that customers could expect the same quality and affordable prices they have come to associate with the store over the years. "Christmas this year we will still go the extra mile for our customers, despite the looming economic conditions. Our buyers want the latest and hippest, and we are prepared to give that to them at the lowest price", he said.

Mr. Ammar is extraordinarily versed in the trends in women's fashion, which is not strange, considering his line of business. He pointed out, "Women these days are very much into decorated denim; the Bohemian look is big, and they want everything that's metallic and shiny." He also invited patrons to visit their newly renovated household department, which has been restocked with all-new chic and high quality household items.
