Grand Christmas market in Jamaica
published: Saturday | November 26, 2005

Scenes from last year's grand Christmas market.

THE IMMACULATE Conception High School family will be hosting its second year of art, craft, home and garden exhibition. This year's exhibition titled 'Grand Christmas Market' will span two days, Saturday and Sunday, December 3 and 4, 2005, respectively, and will be held on the lawns of the school.

The success of last year's exhibition enabled the purchase of 23 Dell computers for the school. The financial success was as a result of the support received from the thousands who were in attendance and the participation of the over 120 exhibitors.

The same if not better support is expected for this year's event from the very large Immaculate school community, which includes current and past students of both the high and preparatory schools. Confidence is high that overall public support of the event will be good. The profits from this year's exhibition will be used to assist in urgently needed repairs, maintenance and acquisitions for the school's development.

The Grand Market will allow companies and individuals to showcase and sell their products and services. Some of the participants this year include persons in art and craft, home and garden and the financial sector. Individuals from the Jamaica Horticultural Society, Jamaica Guild of Artist, Jamaica Potters' Association and The Jamaica Orchid Society

All are invited to come out and take the family, there will be numerous rides and activities for the children, while parents can do their Christmas shopping from the best Jamaica has to offer.
