THE ADVISORY board of the Education Transformation team is in the process of identifying a successor to Andree Nembhard, executive director of the transformation team, according to Dr. Rae Davis, chairman of the advisory board.
Mrs. Nembhard, who has been serving the education transformation team since February, will demit office at the end of December.
The task force on education was appointed by the Prime Minister last January and the report was made public in December, with several sweeping recommendations.
The proposals, made by the 14-member task force, include licensing of teachers, the increase of students' contact hours in schools, and literacy and grade-level remediation.
