PROPOINT, ridden by Paul 'Country' Francis, easily justifies favouritism in the sixth race over the straight five course at Caymanas Park on Wednesday. She won by 7 1/4 lengths as the 3-5 favourite. - CARLINGTON WILMOT/FREELANCE PHOTOGRAPHER

BOTH THE Pick-9 and Super-6 start anew on tomorrow's Owners' Association Day 10-race programme at Caymanas Park. The Pick-9 embraces races two to 10 and the Super-6 from race five through to 10. We look at the Super-6.It gets underway on with an open allowance race over the straight five course in which seven starters have been declared.

The Anthony Nunes-trained EPICTATUS is something of a specialist over the straight and having worked exceptionally well in preparation for this race, is preferred to Wayne DaCosta's grey gelding NASATOL, who also relishes the straight.

Having chased home TYRONE SON over a mile last Saturday, VELOCITY (fit) has a glorious chance of going one better in the sixth race over 1400 metres and thus gets the nod over PALSY WALSY and DARLING ANNA.

HOT RIDES

Race seven, this for the Jamaica Racehorse Trainers' Association Trophy (overnight allowance) over 1200 metres, looks tailored for the DaCosta-trained RIGMAROLE, one of several hot rides for Harding on the card. RIGMAROLE beat all barring TWIN STAR over the straight five course last Saturday.

Prior to that, the four-year-old son of Outrigger had run SIR KHAN to a head over 1300 metres on October 15 and despite the claims of recent winner RISING MOON and JEDI ROCKET, he gets a firm vote on the strength of that performance.

Briefly, PRINCE MOHAWK having bounced back to winning form quite easily on November 23, is tipped to repeat at the expense of LA RUDE in the seventh race, this for the Charlie James Memorial Cup over 1100 metres. Then, take hat-trick seeker MISS CHESTNUT to lead home stable-companion WICKY WACKY and UNLEADED in the ninth race for overnight allowance horses.
