GO AHEAD! Blame Caribbean Producers Jaamaica Ltd. for setting loose the goose; the Grey Goose, that is.

That fine vodka distilled and bottled in France was a hit at the Terra Nova All-Suites Hotel on Thursday when it was unveiled. And some of the goose almost did get loose from the ice sculptures they were placed in. Fortunately, a few alert guests stopped what would have been a terrible waste of a good beverage.

If you're not a vodka lover, then this wasn't your night. Guests were eager to sample some of the elegantly bottled beverage. They took all the combinations, including the good old vodka and cranberry juice. Some tried it straight, especially the Citron type, the orange-flavoured member of the 'goose flock'. But just to make sure we could all make it to work next morning, hors d'oeuvres kept the blood sugar level right.

To add to the evening's entertainment (the mood was already relaxed from the soothing background music), a fashion show was held, highlighting the products of Hugo Boss coordinated by Sophia Max-Brown. Of course, everyone who was present received a bottle of 'the good stuff' and for brawta, a bottle of Yellowtail wine. Ho, ho ho!

Guests included Brian Schmidt; J. Lester Spaulding; Grace Silvera; Francois St. Juste; Keith Brown; Chris Cargill; Brian Chung; Chris Tufton; Denise Hunt; Kerry-Ann Clarke; Lee Issa; Robert McMillan and Carlo Redwood.
