CHRISTMAS FASHION for women is all about glitter, sequins and earth colours this year.

Fay Hyatt, one of the managers at Ammar's in the Village Plaza on Constant Spring Road told The Gleaner yesterday that gold, silver, bronze and other shades of glitters and sequins are in for the Yuletide season.

A trek to the malls on Constant Spring Road last week confirmed Mrs. Hyatt's views that glittery sequins are in. Glitter and sequins bags, shoes, belts, blouses, dresses in assorted colours, are the first things that hit you when you enter stores across the Corporate Area.

Jasmine Morrison, sales representative at Collectibles, agreed that glitters and sequins are in. In addition, she noted that women are also wearing Indian skirts and fashion jeans with sequins.

EARTH COLOURS

And Raymond Graham, manager of Paul's place in Linstead, St. Catherine, said in addition to sequins and glitters, brown and other earth colours are also in.

Men also want to be fashionable this season and some are swarming the stores for pink garments. A representative from House of Style for men in the Pavilion Mall, St. Andrew, said almost everything is wearing for men, but a number of men have been buying pink attire and low-rise boot-cut jeans.
