CARICOM - newest trade bloc on January 23
COME JANUARY 23, 2006 the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) becomes the newest trade bloc, joining the approximately 194 other trade blocs in the battle for economic survival.

Digicel prepaid customers have been able to top up their phone credit at designated Jamaica National (JN) Money Transfer Branches in the United Kingdom (UK) or send credit to their friends and family back home from earlier this month.


Montego Bay schools want transport upgrade
FIVE RURAL Western Jamaica high schools have described the beleaguered Montego Bay Metro Company Limited's school bus service as all but indispensable, and are appealing for the service to be upgraded and expanded quickly.
