ARGUABLY, THE best way to ring in the New Year is to spend it with the family. Treasure the hours and seconds being counted down with the children, parents and grandparents commemorating the gift of life to be with loved ones for another year.
Luckily, like last weekend, this is a long holiday, as New Year's Day will be celebrated on Monday. Similarly, this time should be exploited, as with the many new year resolutions you might not be able to find the time again, and to share with relatives.
Family Time has put together a list of events that the entire family can do together for this New Year's weekend, and in the meantime have a double treat - being together and having fun.
New year's family celebration events
FIREWORKS ON THE WATERFRONT:This spectacular staging of fireworks takes place at the Kingston Harbour, from 9:00 p.m.-2:00 a.m. It will feature popular entertainers in concert, a wide variety of culinary delights and indigenous craft souvenirs.
