CLEANING GIANTS Manpower and Maintenance Services Limited (MMS), made a clean sweep of thank yous to friends, partners, and associates on Thursday, December 15.

The event took the form of a Christmas luncheon held at the Manpower Centre, 1 Eureka Road, Kingston. At start time, guests trickled in and those present exchanged contacts. The luncheon lasted for about three hours.With the busy Christmas season in high gear, the luncheon lasted longer than usual in order to facilitate late arrivals.

"There are so many invited guests but it's difficult for them to leave the office in the afternoon. So, we decided to start att 1:00 p.m. giving persons the option to arrive and depart at their convenience," said Patricia Gillings, MMS director of communications and marketing.

MMS chief executive officer and hostess Audrey Hinchcliffe was on hand to wish everyone season's greetings.

Lunch consisted of baked chicken; ham; fish; candied potatoes; macaroni salad; and vegetable salad. For dessert there was fruit cake; melon; apple; cantaloupe, and drinks of sorrel, wine and fruit punch.

MMS training co-ordinator of the Institute for Workforce Education and Development, Audrey Leahong, gave a wonderful accapella rendition of a few Christmas carols.

Invited guests included: Blossom O'Meally-Nelson, Norman Thompson, Scarlet Gillings, Leo Williams, Basil Naar, and Marguerite Orane.
