Best of Sex & Relationship
published: Monday | January 2, 2006

THIS IS a regular weekly feature that examines topics that occupy the minds of men and women daily. Flair readers just love juicy man and woman stories. And we do our best to push the envelope as far as is decently possible to educate, inform and entertain you with advice, hints and real life testimonies.

The Flair team will in 2006 continue to explore topics that generate debate, stimulate thought and hopefully, lead to improved physical and emotional communication. And every now and then, we will put some steam in your bedrooms!

We chose two of the features that set the tongues wagging in 2005.

Boyfriend wanted!

On April 25, Flair published an article by Rema McLean in which she detailed her specifications for a boyfriend, companion or 'magnificent other'. As a result, a debate ensued - some questioned the rigidity of her requirements, while others applauded her resolve to target the traits she wanted in a man. She soon found herself flooded with responses from men claiming to be able suitors, and a few women too!

Wedding night sex - Reality or fantasy?

Flair delved into the notion of a sexually fulfilling wedding night. The article said in part, "The wedding day itself is quite hectic, leaving us to question whether it is possible to have a romantic and blissful sexual encounter that night. Do newlyweds actually consummate their marriage on the wedding night? Is wedding night sex a utopian concept?"

You decide.
