LETTER OF THE DAY - Concern over Hanover cemetery project
THE EDITOR, Sir: THE APPROVAL by National Environment and Planning Agency (NEPA) for the development of a cemetery at Burnt Ground in Hanover is a matter that deserves careful national scrutiny.

Why are blacks killing blacks?
THE EDITOR, Sir: COULD SOMEONE explain to me that Jamaican phenomenon or syndrome: why we have the highest murder rate per capita, and the worst black-on-black killing? Very rarely, this tragedy goes across the colour line.


Let the youths know you care
THE EDITOR, Sir: IT IS often said that it takes a community to grow a child, but unfortunately, I do not see this happening where I live. So very often I see young people, especially boys, in their mid-to-late teens just walking aimlessly...
