THE CVM Communications Group is once again proud to present the CVM Newsmaker Award that seeks to identify a Jamaican person/persons or organisation that dominated the news in a positive way during the past year.
Several distinguished Jamaicans will be nominated by members of the public for the 2005 CVM Newsmaker Award. Last year's winner was his worship the Mayor of Kingston Councillor Desmond McKenzie with previous award winners including Jamaica's Cultural Icon the Honourable Louise Bennett-Coverly in 2004.
Nominations close on January 13 and members of the public are asked to vote at newsmaker@cvmtv.com or by writing into CVM at Newsmaker c/o CVM Television Blaise Industrial Park, 69 Constant Spring Road, Kingston 10.
The winners will be chosen by a panel of distinguished judges from a wide cross section of Jamaican society.
