SPANISH TOWN, St. Catherine

A MAN who the police claim was wanted for more than a year on several counts of murder, shooting with intent, and illegal possession of firearm, was stabbed to death in Gregory Park, St. Catherine, on Sunday.

He has been identified as 25-year-old Omar Benjamin, otherwise called 'Cow', unemployed of Water Lane, Old Harbour, St. Catherine.

Reports from the police are that about 8:30 p.m., Benjamin and another man, who is now being sought by the police, had a dispute which developed into a fight. A knife was brought into play and Benjamin was stabbed several times. He later died in hospital.
