published: Sunday | January 15, 2006

Brian George shares a toast with Georgia Gray at his birthday party on January 8.

Barbara Ellington, Lifestyle Editor

Supreme Ventures President Brian George celebrated his special day last Sunday at the poolside of his Jack's Hill home, with his lady love Georgia Gray and some very special friends and business associates.

The food and music were great, the former from the magical fingers of caterer Lorraine Fong, and between scattered indecisive raindrops, conversation flowed around the current share offering by the lottery company as well as everyone's hopes and aspirations for the new year.

The formalities were presided over by businessman Don Creary who instructed the birthday boy on the finer points of cutting a birthday cake with his lady's assistance. Toasts were brief and led by first speaker, Supreme Ventures Chairman, Paul Hoo teased Brian George about popularity in Jamaica and his style of conducting business.

Cash Pot spokesman Chris Daley recounted the first meeting with George and thanked him profusely for, "your honesty and keeping my name in a company for so long."

In his reply, George expressed thanks for his guests, describing them as: "people who mean the most to me. I thank you all for coming but this is just the practice for my 50th birthday celebration."
