A magical wedding
published: Monday | January 16, 2006

Odette and Robert Epstein.

ON DECEMBER 29, 2005, on the lawns of Terra Nova All Suite Hotel on Waterloo Road, Robert Epstein and Odette Khoury confirmed their love for each other in a most magical wedding.

Beneath an Arabian styled tent lavishly draped with creme and gold fabric and overflowing with creme coloured roses, canna lilies and orchids delicately sprayed with gold, created a rich and elegant atmosphere.

The ceremony was officiated by Rev'd. Joel Downer. It was a family affair for which the bride looked stunning in an ivory and gold Demetrios designed gown as she walked up the aisle on the arm of her father Dr. B.A. Shoucair. Their five sons were groomsmen and their nieces the bridesmaids.

After exchanging vows that they had written they invited their four sons to participate in a sand blending ceremony. Each poured different coloured sand representing the relationship that each has with their sons and the union of the two families coming together as one.
