WOLMER'S BOYS chase their third consecutive win of the KFC-sponsored ISSA High School Basketball season when they confront St. Andrew Technical (STATHS) in an encounter scheduled for 3:30 p.m. today at Wolmer's.

Coming off a huge win on Monday, which saw them put an end to the win streak of the high-scoring Tivoli High, the team is definitely favoured to continue their winning streak against a STATHS team which is coming off a huge road loss to St George's on Wednesday, and have so far won only one game this season.

Having got off to a slow start following the withdrawal of Denham Town and Norman Manley in their first two home games, the team now seems to be in full stride and is now third in Zone B with four points, behind Tivoli and Kington College who lead the group with six points.

The day's other encounter will see a Zone A showdown between St Catherine High and Ardenne. St Catherine will be looking for their second straight win this week when they host Ardenne High.

On Tuesday they narrowly slipped by Jamaica College 56-52, to send the Old Hope Road team to their second loss of the season. Jamaica College will, however, be looking to rebound when they travel to Red Hills Road to face defending champions Calabar.

Calabar, who lost most of their experienced players last season, have not got off to a terrific start, but a win today could see them move a game above .500 with a 3-2 record.
