CUBA: CASTRO LASHES OUT AT PROTEST MARCH - 'US seeking to rupture diplomatic relations'
HAVANA (AP) : FIDEL CASTRO accused the United States of seeking to rupture the minimum remaining diplomatic ties with his country, addressing tens of thousands of Cubans before starting a march outside the American mission here yesterday.

BERMUDA: Government prepares for bird flu pandemic
HAMILTON, Bermuda (CMC): BERMUDA HEALTH authorities said yesterday they were preparing to respond to the feared world-wide bird flu pandemic caused by the possible mutation of the current avian flu H5N1 virus.
