LETTER OF THE DAY - Time for a 'Reform Jamaica' project
THE EDITOR, Sir: WE ARE fast becoming an ungovernable society. Lawlessness seems to be overtaking the country. Our approach to amicable problem-solving and desirable human relations have subsided and deviated to unacceptable norms.

Why delay new postal codes?
THE EDITOR, Sir: APPROXIMATELY FIVE months ago the public were advised, with much fanfare, on TV, press and radio, that Jamaica would have new international postal codes forthwith.

Forgotten our history?
THE EDITOR, Sir: FLAGS FLYING, bands playing, speeches echoing in great halls, only a half century ago little Jamaica stepped from behind the curtain of its colonial past and presented itself to the world...

'Fort Marley'
THE EDITOR, Sir: THE BOB Marley Mausoleum in Jamaica's town of Nine Miles is now a commercial venture: A theme park within a compound that is walled around like a high security jail.
