What a hot week!
published: Saturday | January 28, 2006

Jah Foresight, Contributor

WHAT A hot week! The high $100 million jackpot is now history. Three happy winners will be taking cruises on luxury boats to Malta. I must honestly state that I did not buy any ticket for that draw since the jackpot was just too high for me. We have seen that since Wednesday, the jackpot has grown to $10 million and that is more like my style.

Let me get down to business. The winning numbers for the high jackpot were

2 (small fire, candles, paper); 4 (egg, blood, wine); 7 (married woman, widow); 10 (small house, car, baby crib); 12 (head, brain, principal); 21 (mule, devil, bad girl) and the bonus ball of 32. These were three winners of $33 million and two winners of $922,196 each.

The jackpot of $7 million for last Wednesday, deposited the following numbers: 2 (small fire, candles); 6 (strongman, lion); 7 (married woman, stockings, widow); 18 (doctor, racehorse, dentist); 19 (silver money, feather); 32 (gold, honey) and the bonus number of 1.

There are two sets of consecutive numbers 6, 7 and 18, 19. The number 2 was repeated across the draw. If readers are following my columns closely, you might have noticed that I have been pushing the low numbers like trouble!

NEW G-G

What a hot week! There will be a new Governor-General soon. Sir Howard will no longer be cooking at the King's House. The new man, Professor Kenneth Hall will be consuming his buffalo milk. The Prime Minister has set his date and all the horses are scrambling to fly through the gate. Meanwhile, the country and the Opposition await the winner and the excitement is ice shattering. The Reggae Girls have quietly wormed their way into some glory on the world stage of football. Another student stabs another and a rural school is feeling the fury. Mandeville catches the eyes of finger smiths and the mighty in court.

This was a week of strange dreams. First, I dreamt that I bought a pick-up on Monday night. I just could not get the van in reverse and the brakes were non functional. I ended up running over three tricycles and some lovely flowers. Secondly, I dreamt early Thursday morning that someone had stolen my car. I practically jumped out of my sleep since I lost one in 2005. I understand, from the streets, that when your car is stolen by some punks, they are merely fulfilling orders for parts. I was telling one of my relatives on his birthday about the dream. On Balmoral Avenue, a taxi driver ran in the back of his Bimmer and escaped from the scene. Can I really dream or am I a fake?

LOVELY FLOWERS

The last dream I had is just a little confusing. I dreamt that I was planting flowers in the roundabout at Mineral Heights in Clarendon and New Green in Mandeville, Manchester. This garden was filled with rocks. Some lovely flowers start to grow and had the whole world smiling. One thing, there was no cow nor goat to eat these flowers. I wondered if this was a pleasant dream or I was just thinking about my grave. I have just lost two friends over the past two weeks and I am wondering if I was just reflecting. Can I really dream or am I a fake?

I am getting out of Kingston. I have been here since the start of the last big jackpot and the millions are now gone. I will be travelling back to my bushes in Hanover.

Let's look if this jackpot is going to rise for a long time. I do not think it will go over 20 million dollars.
