Snow Hill searching for a draw

SNOW HILL need only a draw against Manchioneal in today's Portland Western Union-sponsored Major League match at Jones Park, to secure a place in the mid-season final. Match time is 3:00 p.m.

Lingering a point behind Ujama (12 points), Snow Hill have a better goal difference, +5, to the former's +4.

A win for Snow Hill will push them to 14 points, clear of Ujama to face Manchioneal in next week's final.

In the day's other game, Progres-sive tackle Milan at Boundbrook, also at 3:00 p.m. Both teams are on eight points.

In the latest round of matches, Eagles Strikers defeated Taurus 3-0 to move to joint fifth place with eight points. Taurus remained second from bottom with four points.

Herman Hylton, Kamar Campbell and Rennis Allen scored the goals for Eagles Strikers.

Manchioneal defeated Fairy Hill 3-0 on Wednesday. Dwayne Phidd scored a brace while Ranffonai Patten got the other.

On Tuesday, Dorraine Afflick scored twice to lead Ujama to a 3-0 victory over Snow Hill while Manchioneal outscored Ujama 3-1 on Sunday. Phidd got a double, which took his season's tally to five goals.
