CHILE: Half of Bachelet's new Cabinet are women

SANTIAGO, CHILE (AP):

Just hours after naming a Cabinet made up half of women, President-elect Michelle Bachelet set the group to work yesterday.

"Our government will only last for four years, so we have to work real hard," the newly-elected socialist said. "I've given each of them a folder with the tasks I've assigned them. They can now go on vacation and read the material so they won't get bored."
