Lawrence quits Urban Development Corporation (UDC)
published: Friday | February 3, 2006

Susan Gordon, Staff Reporter

LAWRENCE

THE FINANCIAL Gleaner understands that Dr. Vincent Lawrence has stepped down as head of the Urban Development Corporation (UDC).

"We have had no official word on that," UDC director of communications, Doreen O'Conner said when asked whether Dr. Lawrence had in fact stepped down.

Up to press time, the Financial Gleaner was unable to get a comment from the chairman himself, regarding his future status with the organisation. We were told he was off the island.

Dr. Lawrence has served the UDC for more than 15 years with his appointment as chairman of the organisation in 1989.
