IF MEDIA reports that his 'Campaign For Prosperity' campaign for president of the People's National Party (PNP) is in trouble, supporters of Finance Minister, Dr.Omar Davies, are not buying it.

Yesterday, Dr. Davies and his merry band of supporters descended on the PNP's Old Hope Road headquarters, stealing the thunder of General Secretary Burchell Whiteman and Chairman Robert Pickersgill, who were outlining the latest developments prior to the party's February 25 internal poll.

Dr. Davies was the second of the four presidential aspirants to be nominated.

With the music of Bob Marley - South St. Andrew's most famous son - blaring, a smiling Dr. Davies entered the compound's main building and went through the nomination process before giving a short speech to cheering supporters.
