Main road between Martha Brae and Falmouth closed
published: Thursday | February 9, 2006

EFFECTIVE TODAY, the National Works Agency (NWA) will be closing the main road between Martha Brae and Falmouth in Trelawny. The roadway will be closed between the new overpass bridge on the North Coast Highway and Tharpe Street in Falmouth.

The closure will run for six weeks, to facilitate major rehabilitation work as part of Segment Two of the North Coast Highway project.

During the closure, motorists are being advised to use the alternative routes through Rock or Bogue Gate.

The NWA is also advising motorists to proceed with caution and obey the posted warning signs and the instructions of flag persons.
