For the love
published: Saturday | February 11, 2006

AND IT came to pass that the day of love approached with rapid tempo at the middle of the second month of the year, and Jamdowners began an early red and white commercial binge, for revelry perpetually commandeth the enthusiasm of the vibrant Jamdowner.

And there was conflict of attitude amongst the man on the street, for some condemned celebration of that day saying that its patron, Saint Valentine of the land of Ferrari, was a man of questionable orientation when it came to matters of physical expression. But there were some who delved not into the discourse, dismissing it as a nonsensical thing that is typical of the unenlightened. And so the day of love shall survive its detractors, and its ornamentation shall adorn the rock once again.

Hear oh Jamdown, and take ye this opportunity to inject a little amore in thy domestic affairs. Let everyman amongst ye increase his devotion to his companion and strive ye for tranquility in thy union. For thy womenfolk art expressing their desires to Kingsley Ragashanti on national radio, and verily I say unto ye, they art not being bashful. Yea, they art introducing a whole new dimension to openness, and art demanding adequate adherence, and thou brethren art at risk of being left in the dust.

COURTSHIP

But let not thy heart be troubled, for courtship is likened unto a fire-stick in true Jamdown imagery, and just as it can be ignited into a raging conflagration in the beginning, thus it can be fanned and nursed into a steady flame, e'en after it hath been doused by life's battering, and hath dissipated into a glowing ember over time. But thou oh man cannot escape the due diligence of thy tenderness, if thou intend to recapture that spark. Therefore, go forth and gather thy beloved to thy chest, and express thyself like thou were making an initial impression.

For maidens all over creation art receptive to tenderness, sensitivity, and openness; yea, they adore honesty and responsibility, and if thou show unto them these things, they art likely to accept thy offering to their holistic well being with respect.

Incline thy ears oh Jamdown, and let not thy ego deny thee the fulfilment thereof, for a healthy love relation is joyous to the soul, and is essential to the integrity of thy household. Let thy spirit dance to the laughter of thy beloved; let thy heart absorb the warmth of her smile; drown ye in the depths of her eyes, and let thy loins be inflamed by her passion. Yea, go forth and delight thy beloved to her heart's desire. Selah.
