Maddie helped Will and Gwen hide out. Jade, the woman Luke hit, told the Snyders that she was Rose's daughter, which a skeptical Lily corroborated at the orphanage. Carly took a waitressing job at the strip club, secretly trying to help Jack get his job back, but her scheme may have backfired when she had to accept a ride home from Nick and Jack saw them together. Emily and Henry were determined to prove that Paul is alive.

Hector was on the scene after Taylor's car accident and suggested volunteer work as a way for her to forget about Ridge. Ridge insisted to Brooke that, after he gave up Taylor and his kids for her, she decide who she wants to be with.

Jason and Carly attempted to locate tycoon Anton Rush and his drug company Crylium Industries, and faced mortal danger in their quest. Meanwhile, Lucky was kidnapped and awoke in a lab at Crylium, where he was going to be used to test a possible cure. Using Luke's blood plasma to fight the encephalitis outbreak, Robert, Robin and Patrick created limited amounts of the serum, and were forced to make tough choices. After Alcazar tampered with the charts to get Skye, not Lulu, the first dose, a gun-toting Luke demanded that a dying Lulu be given the antidote. Dillon asked Georgie to marry him, but Tracy put a stop to their plans.

Jonathan confronted Sandy about him still wanting to be with Tammy, which Sandy didn't deny. Unaware that Sandy was recording their face-off, Jonathan threatened to kill Sandy if he comes near Tammy. Warned by Buzz that Billy was planning to expose her, Olivia successfully convinced Josh that she didn't deliberately get Billy drunk. As memorial services were held for Gus and Alan, they remained trapped in a snow--covered cabin. Beth offered condolences to Harley, who forgave her for the takeover attempt. Quinn informed Coop that the apartment he and Lizzie have been using belongs to him.

Hearing of Todd's death sentence, Blair suffered a panic attack and was taken to the hospital. Comforted by Spencer, Blair eventually ended up in his bed. Paige was tormented by her knowledge that Todd is innocent, but she remained under Spencer's control because he fabricated documents implicating her and Bo in falsifying medical records. Determined to destroy Spencer, David urged Paige to join forces with him. Cristian challenged Natalie about her feelings for him. Niki convinced Tess that it's Viki's fault for Jessica creating Tess. John received a chance to get his job back.

Noah took Fancy to a diner to explain why he was in the shower with Maya. A car crashed into the diner, injuring Fancy, who might lose the sight in one eye. Maya cautioned Noah that the crash was probably not an accident. Fox bought Kay's reason about why she can't marry him right now. Kay first confronted Ivy, then Valerie, about their alliance. Theresa demanded that Lawrence Grant rescind his offer to Ethan, and warned Ethan she'll use all her resources to follow him. A suspicious Sheridan saw Chris talking to a boy who looked like Marty.

Armed with the news that Ashley's fingerprints were found on the chemicals in Tom's possession the night he was arrested, the DA suspected that Ashley and Tom had been partners in a drug ring. Brad convinced Ashley to postpone their divorce in order to help her case, but when Victoria found out she returned his ring. Paul learned that a spot of blood was found on John's jacket. Lily returned to Genoa City and had a passionate reunion with Daniel, of which Neil and Dru were unaware. An embracing Nick and Phyllis had a close call when Sharon arrived at the office.
