LETTER OF THE DAY - Danger in KSAC parking lots
THE EDITOR, Sir: WHILE I commend the Mayor of Kingston, Councillor Desmond McKenzie, for his recent preoccupation with collecting monies from places of amusement that are operating without proper licences ...

Too much politics
THE EDITOR, Sir: MANY OF us in this country are absolutely sick, tired and fed up with this PNP presidential race. It is taking up far too much air time and given too much prominence in the print media.

The Islam perspective
THE EDITOR. Sir:I MUST differ with Charles Morales-Lewin who wrote: "Islam must accept the existence of beliefs other than its own." (The Gleaner, Feb. 9)

Diversification needed to save sugar industry
THE EDITOR, Sir:I AGREE with no reservation that diversification in the sugar industry can be considered as a means of ensuring efficiency and viability.
