Stars for UWI track meet

MICHAEL FRATER, Brigitte Foster-Hylton, Sherone Simpson and Jermaine Gonzales will headline this Saturday's fifth UWI Invitational track meet at the National Stadium.

Frater, World Championship 100m silver medallist, Foster, the 100m hurdles bronze medallist, and Olympic Games sprint relay gold medallist Simpson are the members of the Stephen Francis-coached MVP athletes down to run.

Jermaine Gonzales, a world junior 400m bronze medallist, along with runners from Racers Track Club, Trupial Track Club from Curaçao and a team from Cave Hill Campus in Barbados, are expected to set the Stadium East complex alight.
