Model Tamara Moodie has been missing since February 3. - CONTRIBUTED

SPANISH TOWN, St. Catherine:

THE MOTHER of a woman who has been missing for 13 days has expressed grave concern about what may have caused her daughter's disappearance.

Mabel Brown said her daughter, Tamara Moodie, a fashion model from Portmore, St. Catherine, left home on February 3 en route to Kingston to have her hair done, and has not been seen since.

A very distraught Ms. Brown told The Gleaner that incidents that unfolded before her daughter went missing have led her to believe something has gone wrong.

The concerned mother said she was very worried, and that Tamara's six-year-old child has also reacted badly to the situation.

The Portmore police said they had received a report on the missing model and indicated that a full and comprehensive investigation would follow.
