Jamaica must not go gay
published: Friday | February 17, 2006

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I CAN'T BELEIVE THIS. We are just as bad as the United States of America and all the other countries that are even thinking about gay rights. Listen, this is not a matter to debate. The answer should be a resounding NO. If Jamaica ever thinks of allowing gays to be legal, God's wrath will surely come upon us. Jamaica is such a blessed country, why destroy this now? Lord, help us if we do allow these gay rights to become a part of our country.

Now the matter of moving devotion out of school. Do we ever learn from other mistakes? Can't we see what is happening in the other countries that allowed this happen? It is time we stop following and become leaders. We follow too much. Let us now dare to be different in all that we do. There is still hope for Jamaica.

I am, etc.,
