Creative Production and Training Centre Limited (CPTC) launches television documentary of former Governor-General of Jamaica
published: Friday | February 17, 2006

SIR HOWARD COOKE

THE CREATIVE Production and Training Centre Limited (CPTC) has announced the completion of a new documentary in honour of former Governor-General, Sir Howard Cooke.

CPTC Chief Executive Officer Mrs. Angela Patterson said that the timing of the hour-long special production was designed to coincide with the formal departure from office of Sir Howard.

TRACKING THE G-G CAREER

The documentary, produced by Mr. Carey Robinson and Dr. Hopeton Dunn, tracks the outstanding career of Sir Howard from his early engagement as a primary schoolteacher, to his activities as a leading footballer, an insurance executive and later to the high offices of Minister of Government, and Governor-General of Jamaica.

The documentary will be launched next month at a special event in honour of Sir Howard. It forms part of the CPTC's special production series entitled 'Outstanding Jamaicans'.
