UNITED STATES: 'Cartoons challenge taboos'
WASHINGTON (Reuters): A DANISH newspaper editor said yesterday he had sought to defend free expression against self-censorship and "challenge a Muslim taboo" by commissioning cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad which outraged many Muslims.
