Working those numbers
published: Saturday | February 25, 2006

Jah Foresight, Contributor

THE JACKPOT is on the rise once again! The winnings have been fast and furious. I do not think that it will be going over $20 million for a while. It is important to realise that there are several factors that one has to analyse, if you really want to win the jackpot. There are some buyers who are happy with just repeating the numbers over and over again. We have learned through this column that winning the jackpot is not so simple.

You seriously have to consider the rakes, the consecutive numbers, and previous numbers, among other things. You also have to consider whether you should repeat your last set of tickets for about there upcoming games. There is also the possibility of considering the combo tickets. If you have all these possibilities, then you are a true Lotto vibe disciple and you will be a big winner soon.

You are now a big winner. You are now thinking about investing in real estate. Let me give you some real good advice. If you win under $10 million, I would advise you to consider the build-on-own land situation. You would get a better deal. If you win over $30 million, you could consider buying a house. Some of the factors you would have to think about include drainage, the slope, soil type and whether it is by the sea or on a hillside. You might want to think about if you might want to buy a multiple storied house. If you get old or sick, you might need an elevator to venture upstairs. Some of the best real estate locations in Jamaica, include Port Antonio, Malvern, Southfield, Mandeville, Irish Town, Gordon Town, Browns Town, Ocho Rios, and Santa Cruz, among others. I am not a big fan of coastal areas. With the high number of hurricanes and earthquakes and since I am not a swimmer, these locations are not for me.

The next item on the list that you will be considering: vehicles. I hope that you have seen that I have pluralised the word. I could state that you will need at least three cars. Please consider a good SUV. You will need something that can be driven over all different types of terrains. You may have to move fast from a kidnapper. You also need a car that is ordinary and cheap that you can simply blend in with the crowd. The last car that you will need is a good family vehicle.

ALL THE BEST SIR HOWARD

Jamaica now has a new Governor-General. Let us welcome him. Sir Howard was a great man and I wish him all the best. Have you heard that they have finally started to produce the chip that your employer can track you at the workplace? What a world we are living in! I have been watching on the television the singles series for available bachelors and I scored high with my winner. I knew from day one that he would be the chosen one. Class is class. I have a serious concern. Most of these young guys are totally lost in ways to thrill the heart of a young lady. These guys will need lessons from me! I am an expert with breaking down even the constitution of a wheel barrow and I am among the last of the wicked romancers.

Let us now look at the jackpot numbers. The numbers for Saturday, February 4, were 6,13,14,16,21,28 and the bonus ball of 34. The jackpot numbers Wednesday, February 8 were 11, 15,16,24,30,37 and the bonus ball of 25. The repeated number was 16 and the consecutive numbers were 15 and 16. The jackpot numbers for Saturday, February 11, were 11, 17, 18, 20, 21 33 and bonus number of 8. The repeated number was 11 and the consecutive numbers of 17, 18, 20 and 21. The numbers for last Wednesday, February 15, were 2, 6, 11, 13, 32, 36 and the bonus number of 21. The repeated number was 11 once again. The $13 million went last Saturday. The numbers for February 18 were 4,5,10, 22, 27, 31 and bonus ball of 29. The consecutive numbers were 4 and 5. The draw numbers for last Wednesday were 8, 12,13, 31, 33, 37 and the bonus ball of 6. The consecutive numbers were 12 and 13. The jackpot is now at $10 million.

Please just go for the jackpot this Saturday. It is rising and that is not surprising. My advice for this draw is for you to revisit past numbers. Analyse them carefully, and try to remember if they were created by rakes. If so, buy them again. Meanwhile, please remember that there will be a new president of the governing People's National Party this weekend. Delegates will vote today at a special conference at Jamaica College in St. Andrew.
