TOTALLY MALE CLUBSPA

AFTER A decade of catering to the aesthetic needs of Jamaican men, Totally Male has moved to another level and rededicated its services to pampering men like kings.

Moving to a new home at suite number 15 1B-1E Braemar Avenue, they have also developed a new logo depicting man as king. Managing director Sandra Samuels noted that the move from Island Life Shopping Centre was to "upgrade to a more international look. It now feels like a spa, more tranquil with the trees, more homely." And her customers who have sampled the new setting since their move on February 18 say, "We are happy, very happy."

One such customer is Noel Phillips who was getting his hair cut when Flair visited the new location. "I prefer this location because the other one was a bit clustered but here is pretty cool," he said.

Samuels stresses that the concept of Totally Male ClubSpa salon is, " a men's club where the man is treated as king. We are not unisex; it's totally male catering to all the man's aesthetic needs."

To achieve this they have three massage/facial rooms, four manicure/pedicure booths, five booths in the salon, a kiddies station, and a scrubbing area in the Apollo Gazebo. With a space of 2,500 square feet (up from 900 at their previous location), a steam room, and personal training centre are in the pipeline. Samuels has also applied for a spirit license so her male clients can enjoy their favourite beverage in the lounge area outside while they are being pampered.
