Wolmer's Boys rally
published: Tuesday | February 28, 2006

WOLMER'S BOYS overturned a 19-point half-time deficit to snatch a 63-61 victory over St. Catherine High and forced a third and final game three during their KFC/ISSA School basketball final yesterday.

Wolmer's trailed all the way except the final few minutes in a thrilling encounter at St. Catherine High School as both teams threw the home court advantage through the window.

Last week, St Catherine went to Wolmer's home turf at Mico College and snapped the hosts' 10-game winning streak with a fairly comfortable 59-47 win.

Wolmer's, returned the favour in game two, but had to fight all the way to keep the series alive. Chris Vassell and Kerron Caine led the Wolmer's revival with 22 points each, while Ricardo Sutherland and Javon Bailey top-scored for St. Catherine with 19 points apiece.
