published: Wednesday | March 1, 2006

PHILIPSBURG, ST. MAARTEN (AP):

Coastguard divers discovered 75 kilograms (165 pounds) of marijuana attached to the underside of a ship in the Dutch Caribbean island of Curacao, authorities said yesterday.

The cargo ship Pamplona had arrived at the harbour of Curacao's capital, Willemstad, from the neighbouring island of Aruba when it was searched late Monday, said coastguard spokesman Roderick Gouverneur.
