OUR SERVICES - Postgraduate diploma in information technology
published: Thursday | March 2, 2006

Dr. Howard Reid, executive director of the Mona Institute of Applied Sciences (MIAS), speaks with a University of the West Indies undergraduate student at the MIAS booth in last week's UWI Career Expo.

THE POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA in Information Technology is geared towards persons with a first degree in an unrelated field who wish to switch career paths. It may also serve as a stepping stone for persons who wish to pursue a Masters in Computer Science but who may not have the class of degree required to matriculate. The duration of the programme is one academic year and is conveniently scheduled for three days per week in the evenings. The next cycle of this course begins September 2006 with application opening March 2006.

MIAS also offers a MSc. in Computer Science beginning in September 2006. We are currently accepting applications for both programmes.

For more information on these or any other course our friendly and efficient staff is more than willing to assist. You may also visit our detailed website at mias.uwimona.edu.jm for additional information.
