published: Monday | March 6, 2006

Deon P Green, Gleaner Writer

THE SECOND man charged with the murder of two Jamaican sisters and their step-father was remanded, when he appeared in the Brent Magistrate Court in Harlesden, North London last Friday.

The accused, Michael Letts of a Stoke Newinghton address in London, has been booked to appear in the Old Bailey Criminal Court on June 19, when he is expected to answer to the charges.

Twenty-nine-year-old Rohan Chung of South Norwood was the first man charged with the triple murder, after he was arrested by the police last December.

He will go on trial for the killings, at the Old Bailey Criminal Court in August.

Chung is also charged with illegal entry into the U.K. and breach of a deportation order.
