Bog Walk gorge closed

THE NATIONAL Works Agency yesterday closed the Bog Walk gorge to vehicular traffic, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The gorge will remain closed today and tomorrow during those times.

The closure is to facilitate the repairs to the badly scoured piers located at the western end of the bridge and other maintenance work currently in progress.

Motorists are advised to use the alternative routes through Barry and Sligoville during the period of closure.
