MUNRO COLLEGE booked their semi-final spot in the Jamaica Hockey Fede-ration/ISSA schools Under-16 league following yesterday's matches at the Mona turf.

The boys from Malvern in St. Elizabeth defeated Cam-pion 2-0 in their first match, then secured a 1-1 draw with Excelsior to finish their fixture with eight points.

Sean Roberts and Javier Dayes scored against Cam-pion, while Matthew Amair netted the equaliser against Excelsior.

Campion are in second position with six points from three matches, while Mona have one point from one match.

In Zone A, defending champions Jamaica College (JC) beat Tivoli 3-0 to join Papine and Wolmer's on six points atop the standings, but the latter have played one match more.

In girls' division one action yesterday, Queen's beat Alpha 3-1, while St. Hugh's stopped Excelsior 1-0.
