Young entrepreneurs group invited to world summit

A DELEGATION from the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Jamaica (YEAJ) is attending the 10th World Summit of Young Entrepreneurs (WSYE) which is scheduled for March 15-17, 2006 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Over 1200 selected young entrepreneurs between the ages of 21-42 representing over 80 countries, are registered participants.

The meeting seeks to engage young entrepreneurs who are seeking to maximise their greatest potential through entrepreneurial joint ventures. Its theme, 'Let's Make a New Deal', relates to a worldwide platform upon which emerging business leaders can launch new partnerships and anchor themselves to seize opportunities in global markets.

The seven learning tracks to be addressed at the summit include: Business and Trade Services, Small is Beautiful! Or, is it?, Food, Fisheries and Agribusiness, Information and Communication Technology, Manufacturing, Women and Entrepreneurship, and a general interest session.

The YEAJ delegation is comprised of: Mr. Andrew Pairman - president of YEAJ and CEO of Anbell Communications Group, Mr. Duane Lue-Fung ­ second vice-president and CEO of Copier Concepts, Mr. Aswad Morgan ­ secretary and managing director of Morgan's Group of Companies, Mrs. Gaudia Chevannes-Aquart ­ treasurer and CEO of Nirvana Day Spa & Aesthetique.
