Kensington hunt victory
published: Saturday | March 18, 2006

FORMER SUPER Cup champions Kensington go in search of their third straight victory when they travel to Maxfield Park to play Kingston & St. Andrew.

West Indies middle order batsman Wavell Hinds, who took five wickets in his team's victory last week, will once again lead the charge against Kingston & St. Andrew who have struggled since their first year at this level.

Kensington, who won the inaugural Super Cup title in 2004, will have Hinds and David Bernard Jr., two players with Test experience, in their line-up.

With Hinds and Bernard, along with the hard-working Marcus Stewart, Roland Henry, Peter Colquhoun and former Jamaica Under-19 left-arm Dennis Bulli, Kensington should at least pocket first innings points.

Within the last three years, the only bright spark in Kingston & St. Andrew's line up has been Gary Pink, a former Tivoli player. Horace Miller and Anthony Brown are also in Kingston & St. Andrew's line-up.
